Default Demo Accounts
Did any of you use a demo account before trying it out for real?

Currently I'm using a demo account with ibfx.com learning a lot. I have to learn not to get carried away and to do a little research. I keep going with the "I think I'm lucky today" method. Which has only been succesful about 30% of the time lol.

I only use ibfx.com because my business professor recommends it and uses it.

Yes, I did use a demo account, with Kerford Investments, before going real. It's always advisable to do a demo trading before investing.

Does demo and real situation differs when you switch to the second one?

Demo accounts can certainly be beneficial but I always found that you will learn more about both your trading strategy and your emotions when you start trading with real money, even if it's just very small stakes.

Demo account is always beneficial where you can do trading without loosing anything.

Demo account is a good start for novices in the Forex market to try internet-trading and an opportunity for experienced traders to test their new strategies without risk to lose money.

Yes I just did demo up until now because I'm still a newbie. I really can't wait to go on live but I still have the problem losing on my demo account.

I`ve been trading with demo for a couple of months and think of shifting to a live one.
