Asian Stocks Drop

Asian stocks sunk sharply on Monday and the trend continued on Tuesday amid fears over the economy. Many large companies in Asia and the West are struggling to stay afloat, worrying many investors over the state of the global economy.

Investors Interested in Detroit

Since the recession began, housing prices all over the United States have fallen drastically. In cities with relatively poor economic situations such as Detroit and Cleveland, the real estate market is in dire straights.

However, investors see an opportunity.

Investors from around the globe are flocking to Detroit to buy up real estate that was once worth three times the current price with the hope that, when the U.S. economy finally starts to grow, their bank accounts will grow with it.
